Nigeria’s U20 national team, the Flying Eagles, are set to face Niger in the first semifinal of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (Nigerian time).

The match will be held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, Accra, Ghana.

The Flying Eagles, led by Coach Aliyu Zubairu, topped Group A after a 1-1 draw with hosts Ghana and a commanding win over Benin Republic.

Niger reached the semifinals from Group B, securing second place after a 1-0 win over Togo, a narrow loss to Côte d’Ivoire, and a crucial goalless draw with Burkina Faso.

Later on Sunday, Côte d’Ivoire, who dominated Group B with a perfect record, will take on Ghana in the second semifinal at 8:00 p.m. (Nigerian time).

The winners of both semifinals will meet in the tournament final on Wednesday.
