Former Nigeria U17 coach Yemi Olanrewaju achieves success with UEFA B certificate

Former Nigeria U17 assistant coach and Enyimba FC head coach, Yemi Olanrewaju, has expressed his delight after successfully completing the UEFA B coaching certificate program under the Scottish Football Association.
Olanrewaju’s journey in football began as a player, featuring for various Nigerian clubs, including Julius Berger FC, Gombe United FC, and Kwara United FC.
 He participated in several local tournaments and competitions in Nigeria, laying the foundation for his transition into coaching.
As a coach, Olanrewaju has had a storied career, working with various teams in Nigeria, including stints as an assistant coach with the Golden Eaglets and head coach of Vandrezzer FC and MFM FC.
His experience and expertise have been instrumental in shaping the careers of several young Nigerian footballers.
“I am glad to successfully undertake the UEFA B theory and practical classes under the Scottish FA and then pass the subsequent examinations,”

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Olanrewaju’s coaching career, which has already seen him achieve success as part of the title-winning team with Enyimba FC under Finidi George in the 2022/23 NPFL season.
With this new certification, Olanrewaju is poised to take his coaching career to new heights, inspiring and developing the next generation of Nigerian football talent.
