Francisca Ordega nets ninth goal of the season in CSKA Moscow’s win over FK Rostov

Nigeria forward Francisca Ordega was part of the goal scorers as CSKA Moscow thrashed FK Rostov 7-0 in a Russian Supreme Division Women’s league match on Saturday.

Margarita Chernomyrdina scored the first goal of the encounter in the 11th minute for the hosts and Ordega doubled the advantage for her side two minutes later.

Nadezhda Smirnova made it 3-0 in the 39th minute before an own goal from Pestereva Olga a minute later increased the lead to four. After the interval, Smirnova’s second goal of the match made it five.

Two more goals from Luliia Pleshkova and Tatiana Gladis Ewodo Ekogo ended the rout.

Ordega with the goal increased her tally to nine in the Russian league after seven games.

CSKA Moscow maintained their leadership position on the log with 74 points, three points ahead of Zenit.

The team will next meet Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Women’s Cup semi-final on September 16.
