Galatasaray Step Up Preparations For Juventus Clash As Victor Trains Separately

Galatasaray have intensified preparations for their UEFA Champions League last-16 play-off second leg against Juventus, scheduled for Wednesday, February 25.

The Turkish champions trained at the Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay Facilities under the supervision of head coach Okan Buruk as they fine-tuned plans for the decisive European encounter.

The session began with strength and conditioning work in the gym before the squad moved onto the pitch for 8-on-2 drills conducted in two groups. Ball-possession exercises followed, with proceedings rounded off by an intense double-goal practice match.

However, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen trained separately from the main group. The forward, who missed the recent Trendyol Super League fixture against TÜMOSAN Konyaspor as a precaution due to discomfort in his right knee, remained indoors to continue his recovery programme with the club’s regeneration unit.

Galatasaray are scheduled to resume preparations on Monday as they continue their build-up to the crucial clash against Juventus.
