Nigeria midfielder Halimatu Ayinde will remain in Sweden ahead of the new season after completing a move to Damallsvenskan champions BK Häcken.
Ayinde joins Häcken following her departure from FC Rosengård, bringing an end to her spell with the Malmö-based club.
The experienced midfielder now links up with the reigning league winners as they prepare to defend their domestic crown and compete in Europe.
A key figure for the Super Falcons, Ayinde is known for her tactical discipline, ball-winning ability and leadership in midfield.
Her arrival adds depth and experience to Häcken’s squad as they aim to build on last season’s success.
The move ensures Ayinde continues her career in a familiar environment, having already established herself in Swedish women’s football, while also providing a new challenge at one of the country’s top clubs.
