Ibom Angels Sign Three Players Ahead of NWFL Premiership Second Round

Ibom Angels FC have strengthened their squad with the signing of three players as preparations intensify for the resumption of the second round of the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership (NWFL).
The Uyo-based side confirmed the arrival of the trio during the mid-season break, with the players already training with the team and available for selection ahead of their upcoming fixture against Naija Ratels FC.
The new additions include striker Eunice Ezeani, who joins from Ekiti Queens FC, holding midfielder Agide Aminat from Agbana Wonderful Football Academy in Ekiti State, and attacking midfielder Mercy Otuu, who switches from Moje Queens FC.
Speaking after Saturday’s training session in Uyo, the club’s chairman Prince Ukeme Ukpong confirmed the recruitment and expressed confidence that the new signings would strengthen the squad.
“I am happy with the attitude, application and performance of the new recruits in training so far, and I’m confident that their presence has made our playing personnel a lot stronger,” he said.
Ibom Angels currently sit seventh in the nine-team Group A standings with seven points from eight matches. They will host eighth-placed Naija Ratels in Uyo when the league resumes on Wednesday, March 11.
