Victor Osimhen is optimistic about scoring his first goal for Galatasaray after contributing yet another assist in their 3-1 Europa League victory over PAOK.
The 25-year-old forward made his third appearance since joining the club on a season-long loan this summer and has now tallied three assists.
“Unfortunately, it was an own goal again,” Osimhen said on Galatasaray’s official website.
“I can feel that my goal is very close. The most important thing is that Galatasaray keeps winning. We need to maintain our momentum in both the league and Europe.”
Galatasaray will return to league action this weekend with a home match against Kasimpasa, and the reigning African Player of the Year is eager to open his scoring account in front of the home fans.
