‘It’s hard’ – Frank Onyeka reacts to Brentford loss to Manchester City

Nigeria midfielder, Frank Onyeka has reacted to Brentford lone goal loss to Manchester City on Tuesday.

Onyeka was in action for the Bees against City but couldn’t avert the loss against the League defending champions.

He said, the loss was a hard pill to take because the team came with the right mindset on creating an upset.

The Super Eagles holding midfielder commending the Bees for holding forth in the game as they couldn’t get a point in the encounter.

“It was hard, but it was also good, especially defending and on counter-attacks,” Onyeka was quoted by Brentford.

“We came here believing we could do it again, so to lose 1-0 is sad, but it was a good performance.

It’s hard because they move the ball really quick, so we needed to adjust as quick as possible. We did that pretty well in the first half and the second half; defensively we did really well.

“With the slip, it happens in football. It’s sad that we couldn’t get something out of the game.”

Brentford will visit West Ham United in their next game on February 26.
