Joe Aribo draws positivity from Southampton preseason success

Nigeria international Joe Aribo has expressed his satisfaction with Southampton’s preseason games and preparations. The Saints recently secured a commanding 4-1 victory over Montpellier, marking their third consecutive win.
Aribo finds inspiration in Southampton’s preseason successes, noting that the team has displayed strong cohesion and dominance in possession. He is motivated to achieve his personal goals and demonstrate his capabilities and talent.
“Feel like it was a good win from us, a good performance from the boys,” Aribo said in an interview with Southampton. “Throughout the 90 minutes, we showed good intent. On the ball, we were good; out of possession, we were good. It was a solid performance.”
Aribo has set high standards for himself and is determined to reach them, aiming to showcase the talents that he believes have been bestowed upon him.
“I set myself high standards and it’s important for me to reach those heights. I want to show what I’m capable of and the talents God has given me.”
