John Obi Mikel shares trophy laden spell experience with Chelsea

Nigeria legend, John Obi Mikel has shared insights of his successful spell with Chelsea.
The former Super Eagles midfielder was entangled in a transfer cobweb between Manchester United and the Blues which sparked of controversy in England before settling for Stamford Bridge.
Mikel said he was relieved when he settled in at Chelsea after missing playing time due to the transfer saga.
He stated, his amazing career with the Blues can’t be traded as he had a trophy laden career with the English club.
“It was a massive relief. Obviously, it was going on for a year almost, I couldn’t play for any club because of the whole saga,” Mikel was quoted by the Obi One Podcast.
“But after that was settled, it was massive relief for me and I joined the club that I really wanted to play for, which was Chelsea. And I just couldn’t wait to be unveiled as a Chelsea player, because it was taking such a long time to get settled.
“But after that was done, you know, I was happy to be here. Amazing career, had won everything to be to be won and my memory here is absolutely fantastic. I will never, never trade it for anything.”
Mikel won two Premier League titles, four FA Cups, one Champions League and one UEFA Europa League during his 11 year stay with Chelsea.
