Kano Pillars: Nigeria National League club unveil Evan Ogenyi as new manager

Four-time NPFL champions, Kano Pillars on Thursday announced Evans Ogenyi as their new head coach.
The former Lobi Stars and Warri Wolves coach signed a one-year contract, takes immediate effect from December 1.
While making the announcement, the Club’s acting Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, said Ogenyi was picked ahead of 30 other applicants.
According to Galadima, Ogenyi beat one Mexican, two Ghanaians, one Togolese, one Ivorian, and nine other foreigners who also applied for the job.
The Pyramid Boys were relegated to the second-tier Nigeria National League (NNL) last season and will look for a quick return to the top tier with the help of their new Technical Crew ahead of the new season.
The date for the commencement of the 2023 NNL season is yet to be announced by the league organisers.
