Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is expecting Nigeria winger, Kelechi Iheanacho to deliver goals in Sunday’s encounter against Manchester United in the Premier League.
Iheanacho has been filling the attacking space for Leicester with outstanding performance in the absence of their injured top striker, Jamie Vardy.
The 26-year-old has had a hand in six goals (three goals and three assists) in the Foxes’ three consecutive matches and Rodgers said the former Manchester City boy is in his prime age to give best outing at Old Trafford.
“He has right players around him. He’s at a prime age. I see it every day in training. When his touch is good, he’s a top-class striker,” he said.
“He’s worked very hard in the game and his hold-up play has been very good. He’s looked a threat. I’m delighted for him. It’s just about the consistency now.”
Leicester City will be heading to the weekend fixture on the back of a good stats against the Red Devils haven won three times, lost one and drew one in their five encounters against Manchester United.
