Kelechi Iheanacho reveals Victor Orta’s influence behind his Sevilla move

Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho has admitted that Sevilla’s Sporting Director, Victor Orta played a big role in his decision to join the LaLiga clun.
The Super Eagles’ forward agreed to a two year deal with the Andalusian club on Wednesday after ending his stay with Leicester City.
Iheanacho said Orta convinced him about the Sevilla project which was only tandem with his ambition and target.
“Victor is a great guy. He really played a big role. He’s been watching me for a long time now and he knows the striker I am,” Iheanacho to the club website.
“He’s been doing a great job for the football club as well That is why it’s not really hard to do all this. So, yeah. So, Victor is a nice human being,”
His arrival makes him the fifth signing for Sevilla who already had another Nigerian in Chidera Ejuke.
