Laliga: Samuel Chukwueze on target as Villarreal secure vital win over Getafe

Nigeria forward, Samuel Chukwueze put in a magnificent performance by scoring a goal and providing an assist for Villarreal as they came from a goal down to defeat Getafe 2-1.

The Submarines have failed to get a win in four matches as they got past Getafe with a slim advantage at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

Enes Ünal headed in a cross from Djene to give Getafe the lead in an emphatic manner. On the brink of half time, Chukwueze pops up from nowhere to give the Blue Submarines the equalizer in the game following a rebound of Capoe shot on goal.

Chukwuemeka influence in the game came to play in the 52nd minute as he provided a great assist for Morales to give Villarreal the lead in the game.

The loss further condemned Getafe to the bottom of the LaLiga with 22 points from 23 matches.

Chukwueze has scored three goals for Villarreal in this season in 2480 minutes of action.

Villarreal will visit Almeria in their next Laliga match on the fourth of March and the Yellow Submarines are seventh on the table with 34 points from 23 matches.
