Maduka Okoye returns to action for Udinese in statement with Lazio

Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye made his return to action for Italian Seria A side Udinese on Monday.
He impressed in Udinese’s away Serie A’s 1-1 draw with SS Lazio.
He made four saves from Lazio’s five shots on target with one leading to a goal.
The game was the first time Okoye will be playing for Udinese since December 1, 2024, when he suffered an injury requiring surgery.
After the successful surgery, his return was delayed as a result of an investigation into betting scandals.
Kingsley Ehizibue also featured playing 89 minutes for the travelers.
Fisayo Dele Bashiru is still out injured for SS Lazio.
Udinese occupy the 10th position on the log with 40 points from 28 matches.
Lazio is in fourth position on the league log with 51 points and occupies the UEFA Europa League spot.
