Maryann Ohadiwe on target as Ljuboten thrash AS United

Nigeria’s Maryann Ohadiwe scored a goal as her North Macedonia side, Ljuboten secured a 5-1 win against AS United on Thursday.

Vasquez broke the deadlock in the 15th minute as it took Nakova’s goal in the 68th minute to double their advantage.

Ohadiwe who joined Ljuboten from the Latvian side, RFS made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute

Five minutes later, it was the turn of Velichkovskaya to score her side’s fourth goal before Mutafa made it 5-0 in the 85th minute.

Lukanova pulled a goal back for the host in the 86th minute but it was too little too late.

Ljuboten occupy the first position on the North Macedonia Women’s Championship log with 43 points after 18 games.

Tiverija seats in the second place with 41 points.

Before Ljuboten, Ohadiwe helped RFS to the Latvian Cup title.

She also played for Edo Queens, Osun Babes, and Abia Angels in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership before moving abroad.
