Mohammed Magin demands total focus from Niger Tornadoes against Doma United

As the Acting Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes, Mohammed Magin, addresses his team following their recent defeat to Akwa United, he emphasizes the importance of shifting their focus to the upcoming challenge against Doma United.
The Ikon Allah Boys suffered a setback in their last outing, falling 4-1 to Akwa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 30 encounter on Tuesday in Uyo. This defeat halted Tornadoes’ impressive run of five consecutive games without loss.
Magin, while acknowledging that his team was outplayed in the match, urges them to put the disappointment behind and concentrate on their next fixture against Doma United in Kaduna.
“We didn’t perform at our best in Uyo, and that significantly influenced the outcome of the match. We were all disappointed with the result because we fell short of the expectations people have of us. However, in football, such setbacks occur,” Magin reflects.
“The silver lining is that our upcoming game provides us with an opportunity to rectify our mistakes and bounce back. I want us to put the past behind us and focus solely on the task at hand against Doma United, which is a must-win for us,” he stresses during a team meeting on Thursday in Kaduna, as quoted by Tornadoes’ media.
A victory on Sunday would not only help Tornadoes regain momentum but also improve their current 10th position in the league standings. Magin’s message to his players underscores the importance of resilience and determination as they strive to achieve success in the remainder of the season.
