Moses Simon Eyes Potential Move to English Premier League in January

Super Eagles standout Moses Simon has expressed his openness to a potential exit from KAA Gent in January if a prospective club meets his valuation. The winger, whose aspirations for a move to the English Premier League fell through last summer after negotiations with West Brom, believes it is time for him to transition to the next level in his career.
In an exclusive interview with Completesportsnigeria.com, the 22-year-old Nigerian international stated, “I’m in my third year in Belgium, and I have won the Belgian Jupiler League title. I have helped the team play in the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League competitions. There were lots of offers from England, and I was a bit unhappy it didn’t work out in June.”
Simon, a key player for Gent, believes in the club’s potential to secure a playoff spot despite their current position in the 12th spot with nine points from ten games in the Belgian top flight. He remains optimistic about their performance, saying, “We started slowly, but we are getting back gradually. We won our last game, and I believe we will win again on Saturday.”
Gent faces KV Kortrijk in their upcoming game on Saturday, aiming to improve their standing in the league. As Simon eyes potential opportunities for a move, football enthusiasts await the developments in the January transfer window to see if the talented winger makes a move to the coveted English Premier League.
