Niger Tornadoes set to unleash fury on Enyimba

By Dayo Awoniyi

Niger Tornadoes are bracing for an intense clash against former league champions Enyimba FC on Sunday at the Lafia City Stadium, with technical adviser Majin Mohammed urging his players to maintain their winning momentum.

Fresh off back-to-back victories against Heartland and Lobi Stars, Majin is confident that his team can secure another crucial win against Enyimba.

“We’ve had a good run of form, but we can’t afford to let our guard down,” Majin cautioned. “We must not let our confidence wane.”

Despite Enyimba’s reputation as a formidable opponent, Majin remains optimistic, citing Tornadoes’ impressive away record this season.

“We’ve earned 14 points on the road so far, and we’re confident that we can perform well against Enyimba,” Majin said.

The two teams previously clashed in the reverse fixture, which ended in a 1-1 draw. However, Majin is determined to lead his team to victory on Sunday.

“We will show Enyimba that every venue is our home,” Majin declared.
