Nigeria Beach Soccer League Postpones Round Two in Kaduna

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

The Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) has declared that the Second Round of the 2025 season, which was initially set to occur in June, has been postponed.

This decision is due to unforeseen circumstances that are outside the league’s control, necessitating a shift of the fixtures to a later date. The Second Round, scheduled to be held in Kaduna State, will be rescheduled, and the new date will be announced in due time.

The NBSL Management reassures all participating teams, fans, partners, and stakeholders that preparations for the league’s continuation are progressing well. Teams are urged to stay focused and maintain their training as the league collaborates closely with the Kaduna State Government and the State Beach Association to finalize the arrangements for the rescheduled matches.

After the successful completion of the First Round in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi Fishers Beach Soccer Club (BSC) and Kada Beach Soccer Club (BSC) are currently leading Groups A and B, respectively. The eight teams participating in the 2025 season are:

* Kebbi Fishers BSC
* Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors
* Ibom BSC
* Nmanko Patigi BSC
* Kada BSC
* Kebbi United BSC
* Jigawa Golden Stars BSC
* Niger BSC

The NBSL is dedicated to promoting the growth of beach soccer in Nigeria and ensuring a successful and entertaining season for all involved.
