Nigeria forward Chinaza Uchendu celebrates Queen of the Match award with Gyeongju

Nigeria midfielder, Chinaza Uchendu was voted the queen of the match as her South Korean side, Gyeongju played out a 2-2 draw with Boeun Sangmu in a league encounter this week.
The former Braga player didn’t score during the game but put up a scintillating performance which earned her the player of the match award.
An own goal from Jin-Young Noh broke the deadlock for the host in the 41st minute of play.
Three minutes later, Da-Kyung Chi equalised for Sangmu when a goal from So-Dam Lee six minutes into the second half restored the host’s lead.
With match destined for a win in favour of Gyeongju, Hah-Nul Kwon broke the heart of the hosts’ supporters with a last-gasp goal in the additional minutes of the second half.
Despite their missed winnning point, Uchendu took to her social media pages to display her Queen of the Match award with a picture of her receiving a plaque and dummy cheque.
The former SB Lis is in her second season with the South Korean side and has scored three goals and also emerged as the top goal scorer in the South Korean Cup with five goals.
Her team occupy the fourth position with 33 points after 21 games, seven points behind Suwon FC, eight points less than second-placed Hwacheon, and nine points behind leaders, Incheon Hyundai Steel.
