Nigerian striker Jerome Akor Adams poised for Sevilla move from Montpellier

By Wale Mustapha

Spanish La Liga club Sevilla is nearing the signing of Nigerian striker Jerome Akor Adams from Montpellier, according to Nigeriafootball.ng.

Adams, who has been in excellent form this season, has scored three goals and provided one assist in 15 league appearances for Montpellier.

His performances have caught the attention of Sevilla, who are keen to strengthen their attacking options.

The 24-year-old forward joined Montpellier from Norwegian side Lillestrøm in 2023, where he netted 23 goals in 38 league appearances.

Since his move to France, Adams has continued to impress with his potential and goal-scoring abilities, making him an attractive target for the Spanish club.

Should the transfer go through, Adams would join fellow Nigerians Chidera Ejuke and Kelechi Iheanacho at Sevilla, further strengthening the club’s Nigerian presence and providing the coaching staff with additional attacking options.
