Nnamdi Ofoborh: Rangers part ways with Nigeria midfielder

Glasglow Rangers have parted ways with Nigeria midfielder, Nnamdi Ofoborh.
Both parties agreed to mutually put an end to their ties after joining the club in at the start of the 2021/2022 season.
The midfielder has been battling heart related issues since he moved to the Ibrox which made him not to see minutes of action since moving from Bournemouth. Ofoborh saw a cardiac specialist for the third time in March 2023.
Rangers said they both had an understanding to terminate his existing deal with the club and the has pursued another career elsewhere as the club wishes him success in the future.
“Rangers can today announce that the club and Nnamdi Ofoborh have mutually agreed to end his contract,” the club wrote on its website.
“The midfielder, who joined Rangers at the start of 2021-22 season, has opted to pursue a career elsewhere.
“Everyone at Rangers wishes Nnamdi all the very best of luck for the future.”
The 23 year old Ofoborh had 38 appearances at club level and found the back of the net twice donning Bournemouth and Wycombe Wanderers colors.
