NNL: Abdulrasheed Obadun confirms ABS’ plans to overcome Gateway in Ijebu Ode

Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC midfielder Abdulrasheed Obadun has affirmed the team’s commitment and determination as they prepare for their upcoming Nigeria National League (NNL) fixture against Gateway United.

ABS, also known as “The Giant Killers,” will visit Gateway United for their Matchday Eight encounter at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode on Saturday.

The two teams previously met in Ilorin, where ABS secured a narrow 1-0 victory, and will now look to extend their dominance in the return fixture.

Obadun, one of the standout players for ABS this season, spoke confidently about the team’s readiness for the match. The veteran midfielder stressed that the team has matured and is more focused on achieving its objectives for the season.

“Total victory is the main ambition against Gateway United FC. We are fully prepared, focused, and ready to give our best—100 percent—to help ABS Ilorin FC realize our goals,” Obadun said in a pre-match interview with the club’s media.

With a strong performance in the reverse fixture and a clear sense of purpose heading into this match, ABS will be hoping to claim another crucial three points as they continue their push for success in the NNL.
