NNL: ABS Ilorin FC appoints Aremu Solihu as new head coach

In a significant move for the Nigeria National League (NNL) side, ABS Ilorin FC has announced the appointment of Aremu Solihu as their new Head Coach.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by the club’s Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka, through his social media channels.
Chukwuemeka highlighted Solihu’s reputation for professionalism and his impressive track record in grassroots football as key factors in the decision.
Solihu, who has been a prominent figure in Kwara State football and previously served as the Head Coach of Champions FC, is celebrated for his commitment to discovering and developing young talent.
“One of the foremost grassroots coaches in Kwara State and Head Coach of Champions FC, Coach Aremu Solihu has been confirmed as the Chief Coach of ABS FC,” Chukwuemeka wrote on X.
Coach Solihu will be officially introduced to the team in Ilorin on Thursday. His appointment comes as ABS Ilorin FC embarks on a nationwide screening tour to prepare for the upcoming NNL season. The club is hopeful that Solihu’s expertise and strategic vision will drive them to success in the forthcoming campaign.
