NNL club managers light up Jos with maiden preseason tourney

The National League Club Owners Association, NALCOMA have concluded arrangements to organize their inaugural edition preseason tournament that will take place in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

Chairman of the Association, Honorable Chidi Okonkwo who disclosed the development to nigeriafootball.ng in Abuja on Friday stated that 12 teams will participate in the tournament that will be held between 1st and 7th of October, 2023.

Honorable Okonkwo, who is also the President of Abuja based NNL club, City FC said: “this is the first time that the Club Owners are organizing a Preseason Tournament, to among other things prepare the teams for the new term.

“It is going to be vibrant, and our teams are very excited about it. It’s going to be colorful, and we expect the best from the teams.”

Teams expected to take part in the preseason tournament include Crown FC  (Ogbomosho), City FC (Abuja), Rovers FC (Calabar), Giant Brillers (Enugu), Mighty Jets ( Jos), Mailtantarki Care FC (Gombe), Jigawa Golden Stars (Jigawa), Wikki Tourists (Bauchi), Abia Comets (Abia State), Sokoto United (Sokoto).
