The Nigeria National League (NNL) has confirmed that its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will still be held in Kaduna State, though with a revised date of Saturday, September 13, 2025.
In a statement signed by Chief Operating Officer Danlami Alanana, the league explained the rescheduling was due to logistical considerations.
“We convey to you a warm sporting compliment from the Chairman, Board Members, Management, and Staff of the Nigeria National League,” Alanana stated.
“Our earlier letter dated August 14, 2025, refers. Due to some logistical considerations, a slight adjustment for the 16th edition of the Nigeria National League Annual General Meeting has been made.”
The AGM is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, with participants expected to arrive in Kaduna on Friday, September 12. Alanana also offered apologies to clubs for any inconvenience the adjustment may cause.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the NNL could use the AGM platform to announce a major sponsorship deal, a move that would represent a significant boost for the league’s long-term growth.
