NNL: “We must work extremely hard” – ABS coach tasks players ahead of Rovers visit
By Wale Mustapha
Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC Head Coach, Sani Sardauna, has called on his players to prepare for a tough challenge as they face Calabar Rovers in the Matchday Seven encounter of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The Kwara State-based team will host their Cross River counterparts at the Kwara State Stadium this Saturday, and Sardauna has urged his squad to give their best effort after their disappointing defeat to Osun United in the last league match.
“Every home game comes with a spirit, and that spirit is about earning maximum points,” Sardauna said in a pre-match interview.
“We must work extremely hard to achieve this, and we’ve prepared well for tomorrow’s game. We want to win and make up for last weekend’s loss, and by God’s grace, we will get our three points.”
ABS FC currently occupy sixth place in the NNL Conference B standings and will be looking to climb higher with a win over Rovers.
