NPFL: Babatunde Akoro backs 3SC to stun Rivers United in Port Harcourt

Babatunde Akoro, the head of Shooting Stars, has rallied his team to aim for victory in their upcoming match against Rivers United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
With ambitions of securing a continental spot, 3SC faces a formidable challenge in defeating the Pride of Port Harcourt.
Akoro emphasized the importance of focusing on stunning Rivers United on their home turf, expressing confidence in the team’s ability to achieve this goal.
He cited the unwavering support of their fans, noting their significant presence in previous matches, and urged the players to deliver a performance that would warrant continued support.
“We have a target and I believe the target is still achievable if we keep winning our games. I am urging you to go to Port Harcourt and secure the maximum points,” Akoro stated, as quoted by 3SC.
“You can see how our fans turned out in large numbers during our last game. They are solidly behind us, and if we can replicate our success against Rivers United, which I believe is possible, you will see even more of them.”
Currently occupying fourth place on the NPFL table with 56 points from 34 matches, the Oluyole Warriors are poised to capitalize on their momentum and secure a crucial victory against Rivers United.
