NPFL board fixes new date for 2023/2024 draws, Annual General Meeting

The board of Nigeria Premier League, NPL have announced Thursday 24th of August, 2023 as the new for the draws 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.
In a circular released by the media department of the league on Tuesday, the Annual General Meeting, AGM will also be held on the same date.
The statement further indicated that the August 17 date earlier fixed was not feasible due to exigencies.
The NPFL Club Owners also suggested the AGM be held at the same time to save cost and time. The new season has been tentatively scheduled to kickoff on September 6 – two weeks later than earlier announced August 26.
Enyimba FC are the defending champions of the NPFL haven won title for record nine times at the championship playoffs held in Lagos in May.
