NPFL: El-Kanemi Warriors unveil 16 new signings ahead of new season

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, El-Kanemi Warriors Football Club has officially unveiled 16 new players as part of its strategic squad strengthening ahead of the 2025/2026 season.

The unveiling ceremony was held at the club’s base, the Colonel Abdulmumin Aminu Camp in Maiduguri, which also houses the team’s secretariat.

The newly signed players, drawn from both local and international clubs, have all agreed to personal terms and have been fully integrated into the Mighty Warriors roster as preparations intensify for the new campaign.

Below is the full list of new signings:

1. Habila David – from Hapoel Ramat Gan, Israel

2. Iddrisu Ibrahim (Goalkeeper) – from Kano Pillars FC

3. Lawal Tosin – from Shooting Stars FC

4. Abbas Yakubu – from ABS FC, Ilorin

5. David Idaiye – from Barau FC

6. Akinyemi Ayodele – from Legacy FC

7. Sule Kabiru John – from Turbo Touch FC

8. Muritala Dagbo – from ASVO

9. Otuyiga Hakeem (Goalkeeper) – from Akwa United

10. Akekoromowei Godspower – from Inter Lagos

11. Salisu Ibrahim (Nasara) – from FC Sumorgan

12. Suleiman Badaru – from FC Geshwills

13. Zakka John – from Doma United

14. Mas’ud Danjuma – from Remo Stars FC

15. Sale Bunu – from Setraco FC

16. Jonas Emmanuel – from Niger Tornadoes FC, Minna

The club’s management expressed optimism that the additions will significantly boost the team’s depth and performance as El-Kanemi Warriors gear up for a return to top-flight glory.
