Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Enyimba have expressed strong interest in signing Lobi Stars midfielder Suur Kumaga ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Sources close to the club confirmed that Kumaga is among Enyimba’s priority targets as they look to strengthen their midfield following a disappointing campaign that saw them miss out on continental qualification.
Kumaga, 21, has been a standout performer for Lobi Stars over the past three NPFL seasons.
In the 2024/25 season, he made 34 league appearances and scored one goal, playing a key role in helping the Makurdi-based side secure a playoff spot in 2023.
The versatile midfielder has also been previously invited to the Nigeria U-23 national team.
Enyimba, also known as the People’s Elephant, are expected to make formal contact with Lobi Stars in the coming weeks.
