NPFL fines Enugu Rangers One Million for breaching NPFL framework

The board of Nigeria Premier Football League have imposed a fine of One Million on Enugu Rangers for their unsportsmanlike act .against Abia Warriors in Umuahia on Sunday.
Collins Nwoburuoke’s second minute goal separated both sides as Abia Warriors ran out victorious in the match.
In a ruling made available to Nigeriafootball.ng on Monday, the league body disclosed that aome Rangers officials brought the game to disrepute following their violent reaction to provocation from Abia Warriors which termed as an act of misconduct under NPFL framework.
A fine of N1 million has been imposed on Rangers for misconduct capable of bringing the game to disrepute and the Enugu-based outfit club have been warned that a recurrence of same act of misconduct will result in severe sanctions.
Rangers have also been ordered to identify & produce the officials involved in the act of misconduct for further sanctions.
Rangers have 48 hours from the date of notice to appeal or accept the sanctions.
