NPFL: Heartland FC unveils new players ahead of season opener

With their reinstatement into the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and armed with experienced manager after the appointment of Emmanuel Amunike, Heartland FC unveiled new players as they prepare to open their 2024/2024 NPFL campaign.
Goalkeeper, Kelvin Onah joined the team from Legacy Stars to beef the department.
In the defensive positions, Onuwa Temple Chigozirim (ER7 FC), Olanrewaju Molade Ojo (Giant Brillers), and Benjamin Victor (Brighter Tomorrow) were the new recruits.
Chikamso Obasi (De Gideons FA), Uchenna David (Foster FA), and Chukwuma Agoha (Brighter Tomorrow) also joined to fortify the midfield.
Upfront, the club acquired Nkemakolam Chihozie Godwin (Umuakuma FA), Bobo Chibuike (Dynamic Shuttle), Obinna Okere (Brighter Tomorrow), and Chukwuma Agor (Brighter Tomorrow).
The Owerri based side will welcome Enyimba in their season opener on Sunday.
They regained their top flight status after Nigeria National League (NNL) champions, Beyond Limits lost their slots due to dual interest issues.
