Wikki Tourists and Enyimba FC played out a dramatic 2–2 draw in their Matchday 33 encounter in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Wikki Tourists took the lead early through Bala Imamu in the 14th minute and looked in control for large spells of the game. After Samuel Okechukwu equalised for Enyimba in the 54th minute, Jonathan Mairiga restored Wikki’s advantage in the 70th minute.
However, Enyimba showed resilience deep into stoppage time, with Onyebuchi Nwaorisa scoring a dramatic equaliser in the 97th minute to rescue a point for the visitors.
The result leaves both sides with a share of the spoils in what proved to be a thrilling and hard-fought contest.
Wikki Tourists occupy the 17th position and are in the relegation zone with 37 points after 33 matches.
Enyimba, on the other hand, sits in the 13th spot with 40 points from the same number of games.
