NPFL: Mohammad Babaganaru promises a competitive Gombe United with fans support

Newly appointed Technical Adviser of Gombe United, Mohammad Babaganaru has called for support and prayers from fans in his quest to build a team that will challenge for honors and trophy in the coming season.

Babaganaru was unveiled in Gombe State on Sunday and has called on the club’s fans not to put pressure on the team to achieve success.

The former Kano Pillars gaffer stressed that has limited time to prepare the team for the start of new Nigeria Premier Football League season but promises to work tirelessly in assembling a team that will fight to succeed.

“To the supporters and people of Gombe state, there shouldn’t be so much expectation on the team,” he said.

“Building a new team isn’t a day’s affair, we need to be patient and prayerful. With time and your support, Gombe United will be competitive,” he said.

Gombe United will begin their 2023/2024 NPFL campaign against Sporting Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos Onikan on September 16.
