NPFL: Obasogie Amas targets victory with Bendel Insurance against Gombe United

Bendel Insurance FC will be playing their first away fixture in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season when they take on against Gombe United on Sunday.

The Benin Arsenal have played two games, both at home as what should be their first away match of the season was shifted till later date.

Insurance won the two games played at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium and will shocker encounter at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe will be an acid test to how coach Monday Odigie led side will be able to replicate their last season’s form when they ended the regular campaign without defeat.

“We are lucky to have won our first two games and hope to win again to remain on top of the table because it is a very long way.”

Insurance returned to the NPFL last season after many years in the lower division and finished the season in the fifth position after Super Six championship.
