NPFL: Samson Obi warns Heartland against complacency against Katsina United

Technical Adviser of Heartland FC, Christian Obi has charged his players to raise their games when they host Katsina United in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL encounter on Sunday.
The Naze Millionaires are still waiting for their first win of the new season haven failed to record victories in their opening two games. They were forced to a 1-1 draw by Lobi Stars and recorded same result against Sunshine Stars in Akure last weekend.
Obi who commended his players for the draw result against Owena Whale insists the team is fired up to beat Katsina United for their first win of the campaign as they are remain focus and undaunted in their resolve to achieve that.
“It was a good fight in Akure and the praise goes to the players and everyone at Heartland FC,” Obi Owena Chirs Soal
“We do not have any reason to complain than to ensure we beat Katsina United and record our long due first win of the season.
“We have had enough time to train very well and bond together. The injured players are returning and we are in high spirits to play the game.
“We have told the players that only a win would be ideal after the impressive point against Sunshine Stars. We can’t miss this chance,” Obi said.
Heartland returned to Nigeria top flight this season after just a season in the lower division following their relegation in 2021.
