Nigeria Beach Soccer League moves 2025 Super Finals to Abuja

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

The Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) has announced that the 2025 Super Finals will now be held in Abuja, following a venue change from Akwa Ibom State.

According to league organizers, the initial hosts in Akwa Ibom withdrew due to logistical challenges, prompting the relocation to Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory.

The update follows the successful completion of Round One in Kebbi State and Round Two in Anambra State.

The Super Finals, which will decide the 2025 league champions, will run from 6th to 9th November, with teams expected to arrive in Abuja on 4th November.

A press conference, clinic, and technical session will be held on 5th November, followed by official training sessions later that day at the match venue — Jabi Lake Park Beach Soccer/Beach Volleyball Pitch.

Adding a touch of excitement, an All-Star Charity and Cancer Awareness Match will feature celebrities, entertainers, ex-footballers, and former beach soccer players, combining fun, advocacy, and entertainment for a worthy cause.

Kebbi Fishers BSC remain the most successful team in league history, with three titles (2021, 2023, and 2024), while Kada BSC claimed the 2022 championship.

With pride, prestige, and glory at stake, the 2025 Super Finals promise another thrilling showdown as the nation’s best teams battle for supremacy on the sands of Abuja.
