NPFL: Shooting Stars raises alarm over missing players

By Saheed Afolabi

Shooting Stars have confirmed the mysterious disappearance of two players from the team’s camp, raising concerns within the club.

Victor Ehibe and Abubakar Adeyemi have both been reported missing, with no prior notice or communication to the club regarding their absence.

In a press release, the club revealed that Adeyemi had been missing from training for several days, while Ehibe recently packed his belongings and left the camp without any official notification.

“We wish to inform the public of the sudden disappearance of two of our players, Victor Ehibe and Abubakar Adeyemi,” the statement read.

“While Abubakar Adeyemi has not shown up for training for some time, Victor Ehibe recently left the club’s camp, packing all his belongings without any official notice.”

The disappearance of the players comes as the club prepares for their next match in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), where they will host Kano Pillars at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Saturday, December 14.

Currently ranked fifth in the NPFL standings, Shooting Stars will be hoping to focus on their game amidst the uncertainty surrounding their missing players.
