NPFL: “We will get it right soon” – Yemi Olanrewaju assures Enyimba ans

By Wale Mustapha

Yemi Olanrewaju, the Technical Adviser of Enyimba, has taken full responsibility for the club’s recent inconsistent performances.

The People’s Elephant have yet to win a match in their last seven games in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season.

Additionally, Enyimba has struggled in the CAF Confederation Cup, failing to secure a win in the group stage.

Olanrewaju, who issued an apology for the team’s shortcomings, has vowed to help turn their fortunes around.

“Nobody cares how well you are playing when the results are not favorable. We have dominated most games this season, creating multiple chances but failing to convert them,” Olanrewaju said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

“As the head, I take full responsibility and know we will get it right soon,” he added.

Enyimba will face Mozambican side, Black Bulls, in a crucial CAF Confederation Cup match on Sunday as they look to turn their season around.
