NWFL: Edo Queens is beatable, says Heartland coach Obi Ogbala

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde
The head coach of Heartland Queens, Obi Ogbala, is confident that the current defending champions, Edo Queens, is a beatable side.
He said this ahead of their Matchday 10 encounter at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City next week.
Edo Queens is yet to taste defeat after nine league games alongside Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens.
The first leg of both side’s meeting in Owerri ended 2-1 in favor of Edo Queens, a result Ogbala intends to avoid.
“I am still savoring my victory. When the training starts, I will start thinking about Edo Queens,” He said after Wednesday’s game.
“They [Edo Queens] are beatable. We lost here due to some factors. We will build on that and work towards getting a good result.”
On Wednesday, Heartland Queens recorded their second win of the season with a 1-0 win over Ekiti Queens in Owerri.
“Actually we are motivated for this match with what we are experiencing,” He continued.
“It has not been easy on the road, and I told the girls we need to do extra to get this victory.
“As we started picking victories, I believe the way forward is very bright. We are going to work very hard to see how we can be playing home and away without being hurt. The victory is good no matter the efforts and minutes played. It wasn’t an easy match. We saw what they brought to the part from the beginning of the season and used that to our advantage.
“In every game, we have to take the positives and negatives and work on it. The end of the game wasn’t that easy. In our training, we are going to make some corrections to ensure that we start well and end well.”
Heartland Queens qualified for the NWFL Premiership Super Six last season and hopes to replicate the same feat after a slow start to the campaign.
