NWFL Premiership: Confluence Queens re-appoint Ogbonda Whyte as head coach

Nigeria Women Football League Premiership side Confluence Queens have re-appointed experienced women’s football expert, Ogbonda Whyte as the head coach.
Whyte will be replacing Coach Liadi Bashiru whose contract was not renewed following its expiration with the Lokoja based side.
The Rivers State born tactician will be taking charge of the North Central side for the second time, having had a two-year stint with the team in 2019 and guided to the best ever finish as runners-up spot same season before leaving the post in February 2021.
The former Ibom Angels tactician’s re-appointment as the Kogi ladies manager takes  immediate effect and will see him remain in charge until the end of the 2022-23 Nigeria topflight campaign.
A number of names were linked with the job, but the management of the club led by Hon. Abdulmalik Isah opted for the former Confluence Queens gaffer.
The highly rated Whyte earned his spurs while at Ibom Angels and well known for his work ethics, dedication and result-driven coaching tactics following his previews stints with Rivers Angels, Osun Babes and Royal Queens.
Whyte has established a reputation for tactical acumen and his ability to rebuild teams and he is expected to bring his experience to the table for the ambitious team during the 2022/23 season.
