Nyima Nwagua dreams CAF Confederation Cup success with Rivers United

Captain of Rivers United, Nyima Nwagua believe the team possessed the qualities to win this year’s CAF Confederation Cup title.
The Pride of Rivers qualified for the quarterfinals of the competition after beating Ghana’s Dreams FC 2-1 in the final group stage encounter on Sunday.
The result saw them finished second in the group with 12 points from six matches and Nwagua who was impressed with the team’s spirit in the comeback victory, insists that it’s time to think big.
“We have worked hard to get to this point, we will not look down on ourselves,” Nwagua told NPFL Tori podcast
“We have everything, the experience and qualities to win the CAF Confederation Cup.”
The draw for the quarter-final is billed for 12th March, 2024 where Rivers United will determine their opponents in the last 8.
