Trabzonspor midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has expressed his delight at making a successful return to the pitch following an injury-induced layoff. Onazi played the full duration of his team’s thrilling 4-3 home victory over Osmanlispor in the Turkish Super Lig over the weekend, marking a significant comeback after missing Nigeria’s recent fixtures against Algeria and Argentina due to a muscular injury.
The game against Osmanlispor was Onazi’s fifth appearance of the season in the Turkish Super Lig, contributing to Trabzonspor’s 11th position in the league table with 16 points from 12 games.
In an interview, Onazi shared his joy, stating, “I feel good to be back on the field again. I just want to help my team improve and move up the log.”
