Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi showcased his playmaking prowess by providing an assist in Trabzonspor’s commanding 3-0 victory against Antalyaspor in the Turkish top-flight on Monday. Onazi, completing the entire 90 minutes, played a pivotal role in Burak Yilmaz’s 41st-minute opener, contributing to Trabzonspor’s ascendancy in the league.

Dame N’Doye further solidified Trabzonspor’s lead in the 58th minute, while Yilmaz secured his brace with a goal just two minutes before the final whistle, sealing a convincing 3-0 triumph. This fixture marked Onazi’s 10th appearance in the league, with a notable goal to his credit this season.

Trabzonspor’s triumph propelled them to the eighth position on the league table, accumulating 22 points in the fiercely competitive 18-team Turkish league.

Meanwhile, in the Danish first division, Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu made a notable impact as Midtjylland clinched a 3-1 victory against OB Odense. Onuachu, introduced in the 62nd minute, played a role in securing Midtjylland’s triumph.

His compatriot Rilwan Hassan, although listed among the substitutes, did not see action. On the opposing side, Nigerian midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu entered the field in the 46th minute for OB Odense.
