Osimhen surpasses Odegbami to become Nigeria’s second-highest goal scorer

Victor Osimhen has made history by surpassing Segun Odegbami to become Nigeria’s second-highest goal scorer of all time.
The Galatasaray striker achieved this remarkable feat with a brace in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Rwanda in Kigali.
Osimhen’s two goals take his total to 25 for the Super Eagles, moving him ahead of Odegbami, who scored 23 goals during his international career.
The 24-year-old now trails only the legendary Rashidi Yekini, who holds the record with 37 goals for Nigeria, making Osimhen just 12 goals shy of that landmark.
This milestone further underscores Osimhen’s exceptional talent and commitment to the Nigerian national team.
