Head Coach of Kun Khalifat FC, Obinna Uzoho, has declared his ambition to turn the club into a formidable force in Nigerian football, as they gear up for the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 playoffs in Asaba, Delta State.
The Imo State-based side secured their place in the playoff round from the Southern Conference, joining Osun United, Crown FC, and Warri Wolves in the battle for promotion to the top flight.
Speaking ahead of the crucial games, Uzoho shared his long-term vision and confidence in his team’s readiness.
“My dream is to lead Kun Khalifat to the Premier League and grow this club into a force in Nigerian football,” the young tactician said.
“We are confident in our quality, and preparation has been excellent so far. We can only hope the odds favor us when the game starts.”
Four teams from the NNL Super 8 will earn promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), making the stakes in Asaba extremely high.
With a combination of youthful energy and tactical discipline, Kun Khalifat FC will be aiming to defy the odds and book a historic place in Nigeria’s top-tier league.
