Paris 2024: Super Falcons jersey numbers revealed ahead of Olympic opener

Ahead of this week’s opening match of the Paris 2024 Olympics, the jersey numbers of Nigeria’s senior women’s national team players have been revealed.

The numbers tally with the 18 first-team players on the roster.

Goalkeepers Tochukwu Oluehi and Chiamaka Nnadozie will wear jersey numbers 1 and 16 respectively.

Michele Alozie, Osinachi Ohale, Nicole Payne, and Chidinma Okeke will put on jersey number 2-5 in ascending order.

Esther Okoronkwo, Toni Payne, Asisat Oshoala, Macleans Chinonyerem, and Christy Ucheibe will adorn jersey number 6-10.

Jennifer Echegini, Uchenna Kanu, Deborah Abiodun, Oluwatosin Demehin, and Rasheedat Ajibade took jersey number 11-15.

Chinwendu Ihezuo (17) and Ifeoma Onumonu (18) complete the roster.

The nine-time African champions will face Brazil, Spain, and Japan in a tricky Group C.
