Paul Ogunkoya: Nigeria striker signs short term deal with Norwegian side, Stabaek

Promising young Nigerian striker, Paul Ogunkoya has completed the deal to join top Norwegian club Stabaek from an Abuja based side Mahanaim FC till end of the season.

The 18-year-old Ogunkoya impressed technical officials at Stabeak during his trials in Norway that made the deal materialize.

A disciplined, technically powerful and fast player, Ogunkoya was instrumental to Mahanaim’s rise to greatness during the club’s campaign in 2022 helping them to a semi-final finish in the FCT FA Cup.

The forward was also played for FC One Rocket and Ikorodu City FC at some points.

In a related development, Nigerian National League side Mahanaim has confirmed the deal and wished the player all the best as he continues his professional football progress with the Norwegian club.
